Este es mi último trabajo. Una portada de un disco.

Casi todo está contemplado. Papel reciclado, poco uso de tinta ya que el fondo es blanco, uso de diferentes técnicas y simplicidad en el uso y diseño.Además la portada puede usarse como póster.

This is my last work. A cover for a cd. It's made with recycled paper, low use of ink as the background is white, use of different techniques and simplicity of use and design. Also the cover can be displayed as a poster.

El espectro estudiantil culinario es harto variado.

Tenemos desde el menú pizzas, pasta, pizza, pasta y galletas, hasta los que cuidan cada detalle o son vegetarianos.

Pero me da que para la mayoría la comida es un mero trámite biológico.

Para mi la comida es un ritual. No puedo desayunar levantado.

Y como mis padres se que se preocupan aquí traigo la prueba clarificadora.

Eating habits amongst students are very varied.

Some have the unhealthy menu of pizza, pasta, pizza, pasta and biscuits. But others are very carefully with what they eat or they are vegetarians.

It seems that for the majority of students eating is a mere biological procedure.

To me, eating is like a ritual. I can´t have breakfast while I´m standing.

And because I know my parents care about my diet, here I post an enlightening picture.

Siempre lleva algo morado puesto pero sin olvidarse del negro.

La educación no parece ser ya un derecho, sino un privilegio.

Con la contínua subida de los precios de las universidades parece que ya no quieren los gobiernos más universitarios. Es elitista a tope. El cupo está lleno. Los elegidos tienen silla.

Tú que no tienes pelas te jodes.

The education its no a right anymore, its a privilege.

With the new rise of the fees the government is highly limiting some peoples options to study. Its elitist. The quota is full. Only the chosen ones have a seat.

People with lack of money cant be a student, has to be a worker.

En este mismo instante es cuando las protestas contra la subida del precio anual del curso universitario parecen carecer de sentido.

De todas maneras la medida se aprobó, triplicando el precio de las universidades para 2012.

It is in this exact moment when the protests against the raise of the university tuition fees seem to be senseless.

Anyway the new tuition fees were approved and will have effect in 2012.

Estos días he estado muy, muy ocupado. Y esto sólo acaba de empezar...

Pero bueno, cambiando drásticamente de tema, me centro en la publicidad.

Puede que sea unos de los mayores clientes del arte o de las artes aplicadas.

La nueva colección de Hussein Chalayan es genial.

El diseñador ¨conceptual¨ presenta Sakoku (1644-1648), un periodo político en Japón durante el cual, nadie podía entrar o salir del país y en el caso de hacerlo les condenaban a pena de muerte.

La colección vereis que tiene distintos periodos con un nombre. Y aunque la ropa se identifique con ellos, esto sólo es la punta del iceberg.

El futuro de las grandes urbes son los rascacielos. Sin duda, las películas no se equivocaban. El futuro será una maraña de redes de transporte en torno a grandes núcleos urbanos de uso mixto.

En la imagen The Shard, el nuevo rascacielos de Renzo Piano en Londres, en una zona harto céntrica, London Bridge. Tendrá 306 metros de altura, cubiertos de cristal de triple capa con un sistema de ventilación natural, además reciclarán el calor generado por los ordenadores para calentar los espacios interiores.

Los techos tendrán una altura de 2,7 metros y las plantas estarán conectadas por 44 ascensores. En la base tendrán una boca de metro con una entrada exclusiva para los oficinistas. Estarán conectados también con el tren y el autobús. Dispondrán de 250 aparcamientos para bicicletas y 47 para coches.

El edificio ofrecerá diferentes servicios y espacios:

-hotel

-apartamentos

-centro de salud con piscina

-galerías

-restaurantes

-bares

-oficinas

No está especificado cuando estará terminado en la web (The Shard) pero se presume por las descripciones que lo estará para los juegos olímpicos de 2012.

El proyecto, que incluye The Shard, otro edificio de oficinas adjunto y llevar acabo toda la planificación urbanística incluyendo las instalaciones para los medios de transporte tiene el módico precio de 1,2 billones de pounds. Una cifra, que sinceramente, ni entiendo.

The skyscrapers will be the future for the cities. There is no doubt that films were right. In the future the cities will be a tangle of transport nets organized around urban nucleus with a mixed use basis.

The image above is The Shard under construction, Renzo Piano´s new skyscraper in London, it will be placed on a very central location, London Bridge. It will be 306 meters high and it will be covered by a 3 layer glass with natural ventilation system also they will recycle the heat generated by the computers to heat the interior spaces.

The ceilings will be 2.7 meters high and all the floors will be connected by 44 lifts. The base will have a tube exit with an exclusive entrance for clerks. They will also have bus and train connections. And they will have 250 bicycle parks and 47 car parks available.

The building will offer different spaces and services:

The web doesn´t say when it will be finished (The Shard) but I assume because of the descriptions they give that it will be open for the 2012 olympics.

The project that includes The Shard, another offices building and construct all the new areas from the pavement to the new transport accesses has the price of 1.2 billion pounds. A number that I can even understand.
