Sin título Untitled

Ver el hotel de espejo del estudio Tham & Videgard Arkitekter me parece bastante fuerte.
(4x4x4, en el norte de Suecia, cerca del círculo Ártico tiene cubierta transparente de color ultravioleta para que los pájaros no choquen)

Y digo esto porque parece el típico proyecto que se queda en papel. Pero no, está construido.

Me recuerdan a las cajas de aluminio de Donal Judd. Que difícil ha sido encontrar buenas fotos de las cajas. No creo que este trabajo sea sobre las cajas sino sobre el entorno y quizás el reflejo (no como tema sino como medio). Bueno ahí queda mi escueto comentario.

It´s very impressive to see the mirror hotel designed by Tham & Videgard Arkitekter.

(4x4x4, in the north of Sweden, close to the Arctic circle with transparent ultraviolet colour is laminated into the glass panes which are visible for birds only)

And it´s because it looks like the typical project that will be never done. But it´s, in fact, built.

It reminds me of Donald Judd´s Aluminium boxes. It's been quite difficult to find good pictures of the boxes. I don't think this work is about the actual boxes but the environment and, perhaps, the reflection (not as a topic but maybe a mean). Ok, that's my plain closing comment.
