What I think should be added to early education processes, namely in early public education, is the management of information technologies and the management of emotions.

Emotions is something we learn and we assimilate. We test and challenge. Within the current context of capitalism or neo-liberalism (need to have a deeper understanding of this) that encourages individuality trough self-realisation/self-expression, it is important we learn about ourselves, and that we learn about ourselves in relation to others.

Growing up in a complex society of networks, be them economical, cultural, of information, etc., and the overlapping of these, we need to learn how to face data effectively. Technology has become a given (obviously not everywhere in the world) and we need to be able to criticaly engage with it.

We need to grow up a new generation of critical thinkers rather than content-absorbers

We cant wait for institutions to change the world. It is trough individual agency that we can alter our immediate environment and then provoke change.

This is something I would like to develop upon but pop culture might have something that truly communicates to a vast group of people...as Michael Jackson says I'm Going to Start With the Man in the Mirror...
