Sabía que un palíndromo es una palabra que se puede leer indistintamente de izquierda a derecha y viceversa.
Lo que no sabía es que un anagrama es una palabra que contiene las letras de otra, teniendo ambas significado; Nicolás-níscalo.
I knew that a word readable (being the same word) from left to right and right to left was called a palindrome.
But I didn't know that two o more words having a meaning and containing the same characters would be called anagram; Nicolas-niscalo.

A algunos puede parecerle provocador.
A otros directamente, asqueroso.
Extrañamente, pasada una absoluta captación de la atención y la más absoluta perpejidad siento una sensación de indiferencia pues, parece que gracias al aura de John Waters (color rosa flamingo) todo se presenta de lo más natural.

Strangely, while the film garbs all my attention and submerges me in the most absolute puzzlement, I still have a light feeling of indifference, as it seems that thanks to John Waters aura (pink flamingo colored) every happening is the most smooth and natural thing.

El nuevo edificio de Sain Martins aparece en el periódico Evening Standard.
El crítico de arquitectura, Kieran Long, lo califica de espacioso e indefinido y que al haber ocupado un antiguo edificio (Lewis Cubitt, 1850) no se ha convertido en el típico edificio institucional sin carácter o alma.
Un único punto negativo y muy cierto; antes, cuando los diferentes cursos estaban en diferentes edificios y zonas de Londres, este flujo de estudiantes creaba una riqueza localizada y en zonas de tránsito que con el nuevo edificio se pierde.
El edificio en persona impresiona.
The new Saint Martins building appears on the Evening Standard.
The architecture critic, Kieran Long, says: "the main luxury of Stanton William's design is how they have created large spaces with undefined uses" and that thanks to the preservation of the old building (Lewis Cubitt, 1850) it doesn't fell like a soulless modern building.
There's one negative point; "My fear is that the removal from these institutions ...mean that central London is even more given over to leisure and tourism[referring to those buildings where courses used to take place, such as Holborn o Charing Cross]...becoming King's Cross Central soulless and monocultural"
Visiting the building is quite impressive.

Y tampoco olvides la Whitechapel Gallery. Tienen un ¡Rothko!
Y mogollón de material informativo. Es, de hecho, una revisión de la primera exhibición que se hizo en Gran Bretaña hallá en 1961 sobre Mark Rothko. Y es también gratis.

Es placer máximo escuchar a John Cage hablar.

La charla empezaba a las 18:30 y Ana me propuso ir a las 19:00.
De todas maneras como las entradas estaban agotadas fuimos, nos recibieron y nos pasaron gratis. (Suerte; quedaban unos 5 asientos libres aprox.)
La presentación trataba básicamente sobre el proyecto en Abu Dhabi, La Mastaba.
Ha sido en general una revisión de las bases del arte de Christo. Ni más ni menos.
A mi pregunta sobre qué le llevó a entregar su vida al arte; empecé a hacer maquetas sobre arquitectura, pintar, dibujar... con sólo 5 años. Luego en Bulgaria empecé a estudiar artes y la vida me ha llevado a esto.
No es una decisión que he tomado.
Yo esperaba recibir una respuesta mucho más inspiradora. Supongo que Christo es así: riguroso en la práctica y en el discurso.
Completely truth and real.
The talk was at 18:30 and we decided to go at 19:00.
As tickets were sold out we decided to go. We got there and, thanks god, there were few seats left. The staff was really nice to us.
The talk was basically about The Mastaba project.
It's been a review on the basics of Christo's art practice.
When I asked why did he decided to devote his life to art he said: I satrted doing drawings and architectural models at the age of 5. Then started to study art in Bulgaria, which lead me to my current practice.
It's not a decision I've made.
I was expecting a more inspiring answer. I guess thats the way Christo is; rigorous in his practice and speech.
